Words are power-packed with hidden meanings and feelings, they are like specialized tools which can be used to convey truth or to deceive.
JUST BECAUSE people have the right words does not mean they are right within themselves. People know that if you believe their "right" words, you will also accept them. Be careful, therefore, about judging them. Never confuse words with the Word or the message with the messenger. Just because a man says he is a Christian and quotes verse and chapter does not mean he is trustworthy. The same thing holds true with those who follow Roy Masters. The same is true about people who are rude; they may not really be terrible people. Don't judge or be affected by words. Do not take words pridefully or personally.
Responding to words sets up doubt and continues to pull upon your old nature. Now that you are becoming aware of what you are dealing with, your soul will not follow those words and you will sin no more. To sin is to experience or sample words (or what those words tell you to do) to get feelings. Words alone can produce feeling when you escape into thought.
Whenever you feel a pull in your solar plexus (a nerve center in the abdomen below and to the right of the heart), you may be sure you are under the sway of words. Step back from this compulsion to follow; do nothing until the feeling passes and then you will be in possession of your senses once again.
