I
left my son alone to take an interest in whatever he chose and pretty soon I
found that he was interested in everything.
Teachers
need to help the child (but not too much) to unfold and realize that the
answers are within himself. Answers are worth something only to people who want
to know.
Do
not create a desire to know in a child but rather, feed his desire to know. If
you motivate him, you will create a robot who cannot learn on his own. If you
are cut off from your own fount of knowing, you will teach children in a way
that will cut them off also and destroy them.
Some
parents are killing their children but you cannot see it. They kill them with
love.
My
wife and my children cannot make me angry. That is how I show them I love them.
A
mother will encourage her child to cling because of her own insecurity.
A
baby knows its own needs and sees the spiritual dangers around it better than
you do. It may cry for your physical contact and protection. It is not
spoiling the child to pick it up.
The
moment you cause a child to react, the real life is destroyed within him and
the wicked life in you enters him and thereafter cries out to you for
nourishment.
