When
you overreact, you take on the characteristics, the suggestions and the
identity of the person, place or thing to which you respond with resentment.
Women use resentment (contempt) toward their husbands to "evolve" a
facsimile of the intelligence and authority of their husbands. In the secret
crevices of her mind the resentful wife feels her husband's knowledge, his
authority with that she feels superior to him and she feels that such
experience, although secondhand, is original with her.
Hypnotized
people display the same phenomenon. Suggest anything to them and it comes
preaching out of them as though it were their very own idea, even if they are
preaching right back to the source of the suggestion.
Most
people live with no true identity of their own. What they do have is evolved
from inter-reacting with others, beginning with the dominant parent: mother.
Men
who have been corrupted by strong or manipulating mothers have no direction or
identity apart from a stimulating female mate. Talking with such "men"
is the same as talking to their wives. They are not usually able to see that
they are motivated from "the beyond" of a woman's spirit, rather than
the original "beyond" presence that created them.
The impostor, having displaced the cause (the true direction and character of the
original image) with its own, goes on to preach and ravage the lives of
succeeding generations.
