PSYCHOPATH:

I
have explained that culture is not really civilization; culture is what rises
to displace civilization as it falls. The head men of culture, with few exceptions,
are psychopaths by nature. Culture is civilization turned upside-down. In this
system, most of the people live in reverse (perhaps it is only coincidental,
but the word "evil" is "live" spelled backward).
Singular
among God's creatures, only man can devolve downward, back through the
evolutionary process, away from perfection. The condition that cultural man
find himself subjected to is the result of an original choice or sin. Animals
evolve from a point of being less to one of being more, but man moves downward
through the evolutionary scale from the point of being originally better. Many
degenerate to the point of vegetating. Others mask their bestiality with
hypocrisy and frills, compensating for their dying with artificial
life-sustaining systems. The entire process is called "progress”.
I
am not being at all uncharitable when I say that falling men live at the
expense of one another whenever they can. It is indeed a dog-eat-dog world. Yet
not even the victims of the system are willing to right the wrongs of the
culture, for there burns in our egocentric hearts the hope, no matter how
faint, that we might someday "make it big" (meaning we might become
the one who lords it over everyone else).
