To see things clearly, as they are,
to perceive with understanding in a wordless way—to have common sense—is a
gift. That perfect energy state of knowing and being provided power and
guidance to the ancient wise men. They called it the light. The light
gave Moses the power to stand up to Pharaoh.
We must all be Moses and Jesus types,
or else perish. The indwelling light is a "lamp unto your feet."
Where there is light and power, there is no need to worry, to scheme and to
plan your way through life.
For
most of the people in this world, the light has gone out. As creatures of
darkness, they move and have their being by the eerie luminescence of their
imaginations. They may look like us, talk like us and act like us, but they are
not coming from the same place.
There is available to those of us who love the truth the power to see what is
wrong with ourselves and the world, and so we can change everything for the
better. But they cannot. Because they hate the light and therefore must try to
put it out, they cannot perceive circumstances clearly or realistically.
Believing that they are making a better world, they destroy themselves and
those around them, and then they "save" themselves by not seeing
where the fault lies.
It
is the ambitious ones who fear the light. You can tell who they are whenever
you wheel the conversation around to meaningful subject matter. They become antagonistic
when you speak of moral issues and thereby threaten their secret lifestyle.
They react defensively to you the way they react against their own conscience.
These
imperfect people exist on the imperfect energy triggered by intrigue, pressure
and sensual pleasures. They enjoy being stressed and, like the vultures they
are, they in turn take special delight in degrading and pressuring those
around them.
