Fallen Man is a living breath of contradiction. He
cannot see that he is because his tarnished ego, which is the contradiction to
its Creator, refuses to face up to the Truth. Even while their words are still
hanging in the air most people do not (will not) see their lies as
contradictions. They will even try to make you think you are crazy.
They will
flatly deny having said what they did in their very next breath. They will turn
your words around to mean something other than what you said. When they are really
up-against-the-wall they will tell you that words are all a matter of
semantics, that your truth is merely a play on words.
It is, of course, impossible to
convince this class of mortals of anything meaningful. They are quite mad. The
tragedy is that they are in the majority and we are in the minority. Because we
are in danger of being overwhelmed and because these people will never read,
let alone understand what is written here, I have dedicated these words to
TRUTH SEEKERS everywhere. I hope this argument against madness will help
neutralize the terrible negative and false attitudes which surround us.
Ever since man aspired to the glory
and power of the Godhead and fell, man has been seeking the eternal life that
was supposed to have been part and parcel of the original deal. To this very
day man's ego has been trying to force the devil to make good his original
promise. And in his many guises the devil has been more than eager to oblige.
The power of evil on earth is directly
connected with the ancient lie that man is or can be God.
The truth, of course, is that he
cannot be God. The penalty for reaching for the Godhead is death. But the ego
of man, being what it is, cannot believe the Truth, even in its fall. And in
its stubbornness it is obliged to go on wanting to believe in the lie.
