Hello,
Roy Masters Speaking
Welcome
once again to "A Moment of Truth." I hope you will join with me this
day in discussing the common problems that we, as humans, different from the
beasts, share. Animals don't have any problems in their relationships with one
another.
They have no problems because there is no error involved. But we, as
human beings, do have a problem in the way we relate to one another. Something
is missing in our inter-personal relationships, and that is what I would like
to determine on this program. I'd like to get to the root of the problem.
You
see, animals do not have any problem because they have no choice between right
and wrong. They have only to be. They have no choice in the matter at all.
Error enters into human life because of the factor of choice, and our inability
to make a new choice.
I
hope by my dissertations and discussions to provide you with information on how
to make a new choice. Many of you would like to make a new choice, but you
don't know how to make it. People keep getting in your way, making a lot of
noise, providing a lot of excitement, rhetoric, clever persuasion, so that you
don't see. They present you with wrong choices, wrong possibilities, wrong solutions;
so that your choice is always between the devil and the deep blue sea.
I hope
on this program to be able to light your way, to make it easier for you,
whereas the rest of the world is struggling to make it harder for you, to keep
you just like everyone else.
I
also want to say before I start this program — I feel that I should say it once
in a while— I think it's wonderful to have the privilege of living in a country
like America.
Regardless of whether you people are right or wrong, you have a
heritage, and I'm using some of the privileges of that heritage, for which I am
very grateful. Not you, but your forefathers, had the stamina and wisdom to provide
a framework for freedom, and you're reaping the fringe benefits today. But most
of you are losing your real freedom.
Most of you are just legally free, and
many of you who are listening to my voice on this program would not graciously
(as your forefathers planned it) grant me the freedom to speak as I do, because
you are the antithesis of your forefathers. You'd tear down the things I would
say. You'd not grant me the freedom to speak freely.
Many of you would silence
this voice. It isn't that I think I am always right, or that you are always
wrong. Sometimes I speak about the doctors, and sometimes I speak about the
politicians; sometimes I speak about the ministers; and sometimes I speak about
women, and then men, and children, how wrong they are to their parents. I'm
always speaking about the error.
