Beyond Common Sense

Words without meaning are merely sounds which affect nothing. Meaning is the essence of words, the intent of the spirit of the speaker. Words communicate one of two realms of intent, good or evil. The word is the bow and the arrow is the meaning.

Words disguised to convey good can be used to project harm and create confusion.

You can say one thing, yet mean another while only the person intended to get the message may see and react to the twist of meaning. Wicked people dress up in Bible words and devastate through preaching. Scriptures may be given meaning they really do not have. Consequently, when such a meaning is followed, a madness, a violence, a hypocrisy appear masquerading as religion or science and the like. From this you may see how important it is to be able to perceive meaning for yourself. It is your only defense against the violation of your mind by what I call "the destroyer”.

Perception is a real force for good and a protection from the barbed darts of evil.

The worst twist of meaning that exists today is the distortion that Jesus is God. First of all, if it is true that man is a fallen being and that God's plan to reconcile man to himself is through believing in Jesus, we had better be very careful about what it is about the man and his teaching He wants us to believe, because that belief could just as easily kill us as cure us.

If the bottom line of salvation is centered in belief about the man himself, then that point of philosophy is the very heart of the plan of salvation, or the treachery of hell.

It is not my intention to prove whether Jesus is God or His Son. You must decide that for yourself and you must do it unaided by ministerial interpretations or the pressures of others. Neither must you be affected by scoffers and atheist cynics. You see, evangelical zeal and hypocrisy can produce its own opposite side, with an evil evolving between them.

For example, the exploitation of labor by business produced its opposite, the union which is now as bad, or worse, than management. The wicked Russian Orthodox Church produced communism; the list is endless. The point being that if management had love or justice in it in the first place, it wouldn't have created what appears as opposite (but is the same) in the second place.
