CANCER:
THE ULTIMATE SOUL CAUSED DISEASE
Our mind and body may be compared with a rider on a horse. Our body has become
the vehicle for a vain and stupid rider.
We try to "will" that body to bring us the things we
want. We push ourselves (huff and
puff), but it only bucks, rears, and revolts against our lordship. Invariably it becomes a broken down,
stubborn mule. We may spur the brute
and become angry with it. We even sweet
talk ourselves, promising all sorts of rewards.
Should
we perchance accomplish a difficult feat, we put the "nosebag" on
the brute and "make hay," rewarding ourselves like a trained dog or
seal. In every conceivable way we
strive to motivate our body to serve our vain ends. Then one day we awaken with a full blown hang-up. We procrastinate, we cannot move a muscle,
we have all sorts of emotional problems and blocks, even a fear of the
motivation we so desperately need and depend upon.
The
human body is designed to take orders from the consciousness, not from
environment. The consciousness must be
related correctly. In order to give the right commands it must know what is
right and wise. True authority is not
one of self-assertion, but an enlightened one.
An egotistical person knows nothing of this, and is in the dark as to
the Truth, not wanting to know for reasons of his own.
A
good “rider" gains immediate respect and response from his
"horse." The presence of the
(enlightened) rider on his "back" immediately conveys to the body
the rider's respective virtues. Such a
rider also possesses a unique command power that is not only healthy for the
horse, but has fringe benefits for the rider as well, for they go together
profitably.
